I’ve been interested in self-defense classes but kind of hesitant because most of the time I’ll be the only girl in the classes I go to and I am always worrying about being disrespected, taken advantage of and just being uncomfortable in general.

Great team feeling. Super recommend for younger kids. my daughter who is 4 soon to be 5 has been attending for 2 months and absolutely loves it. Instructor’s are awesome, friendly and patient but also stern and good at being positive. Good way for kids to learn discipline, respect and confidence.

I realize that Charles Gracie BJJ has adult classes but my experience at this school is with their youth classes. My 5 year old started about 3 months ago. He’s not an uncommon boy in that he has a very short attention span and has difficulty focusing.
